American Capital Group Lied about lease agreement Irvine California
I bought a Direct To Garment Printer from US Sceen in Phoenix, AZ. They suggested I finance through American Capital. I did so & soon after found out the loan was transfered to Manifest Funding. The amount was $573 for 3 years. The machine was not made very well. It ran so-so for about 14 months then completely quit. I took it to US Screen to be repaired and they worked on it, charging me about $3000. It never worked after that. This was Feb of 2007. I was getting involved with other owners about doing a class action against US Screen, then they went bankrupt. I told Manifest Funding that the machine I was paying for was gone. Non-existment. They said tough. I paid loan off not wanting to screw up my credit. Now American Capital tells me I have to pay lease payments every month of $573. I was told by the salesman from American Capital that after the machine was paid off the buy out was a dollar or less if the machine was wore out by then. Now they are reneging on what there salesman stated.
