I took off the day i was to get new carpet and vinyl through out my home, I was told to have all the breakables put up and they would move all the big stuff, which i did, when the instalation crew showed up they told me " we didnt know you had so much stuff and we dont feel like doing this today, i was furious because i had already taken the day off.

I told them to get the manager on the phone, i told him what was going on and he said he would be right out. When he showed up he said that there wasnt that much stuff but since the instalation crew and i already had a conflict that he would get another crew to come out tommorrow, so now i had to take another day off work. The next day the crew showed up and stated that they didnt think they had enough material because the salesman didnt tell them about the garden tub in our master bedroom or about our second bathroom. they went ahead and installed what they had and tried to peice together what was left, the vinyl going from the bathroom to the hall dosnt even match up, there are several spots where the vinyl is 1 1/2 inches away from the wall and there are several spots where they tried to sew the carpet together by hand (that lasted for about 1 week.

So now i have to take a third day off so they can finish. i have had two other carpet companies come and look at the work they did and they told me it was the worst job they have ever seen. Icalled the manager about the quality of work that was done, and he came out and took some pictures and said he would take 150.00$ off what i owed and they would be out to correct the problems. They have never been back since (2 years) and after repeated phone calls to the company the manager has told me since i didnt pay the 150.00$ they were not going to do anything for me and that he didnt care how the my home turned out, and that he wasnt going to do anything else for me he said " I already have your money what are you going to do about it"

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

I can be reached 24/7 there has been no such situation that has been reported to me and if there had been it would not have been handled that way. We are a 34 year old company that would not have lasted that long if this was how we handled our problems. Lets let the light of day shine on this problem with an independent binding arbitration that will require the complaintent to reveal his name and identity. The only thing that remotely comes close this claimed $150 settlement is a customer who had their dog defecate on the rug DURING the installation and expect me to replace it. I suspect that "Kent" will not come forward but I look forward to resolving his problem as soon as he does. Thank you for the opportunity to respond,
