A teenage girl knocked on the door (she actually banged on it) and was a little more enthusiastic than I liked. She said she was trying to sell magazines so she could go on a cruise or get money. So I said okay. She didn't even ask me if I wanted to buy anything; she just told me to look at the magazines and pick out three that I liked. So I did. She said that if I didn't want the subscription, I could just cancel it within three days from the date that I signed the receipt. As soon as she left, I signed the yellow copy of the receipt and dropped it off at the post office.

I emailed American Cash Awards stating that I wanted to get a refund and I did exactly what it said to do on the back (send it within three days from date of sale). I also asked (just to be on the safe side) if they would cancel the subscription and not charge me or charge me and put the money back into my account. Well they cashed the check and I still didn't get a response. I don't understand why it takes them so little time to cash the check but on the back it states that it takes six weeks for a refund after proof of payment has been provided. That's a load of BS if you ask me.

Don't get scammed into buying anything from these people and their salesmen (or women). Their prices are steep and they don't even have a good selection to choose from. And customer service isn't customer-service oriented at all.
