My elderly mother-in-law recieved a letter in Feb. 2013 from American Cash Awards stating that she had won 2.8 million dollars in the Ohio state lottery. she called the phone number and over several months paid out $7, 237.79 trying to claim her winnings. They had her sending money through Western Union and more often with Green Dot cards mostly to Doreen Leslie in Jamaica. She is now financially defunct leaving her children the burden of paying up her bills and trying to keep her in her home. There are approximately 39 transactions over 6 months time. They always gave her a convincing reason for needing more money in order for her to obtain her winnings.
