Complaint Review: American Computer Supplies

American Computer Supplies Manipulative selling practices. Very deceiving and Rude. They do not even have a website and they don't answer the phone using their name. ripoff Los Angeles California

Initially, our technology coordinator was 'talked into' a trial cartridge and catalogs (in order to purchase additional cartridges) by one of their saleswomen. I think her name was Linda. Little did she know that he would be receiving 2 additional cartridges. Each time I have contacted them, I get a rude receptionist that answers the phone without using the company name and when you ask to speak to a spefic person, they are never available.

I first told the woman that I have no interest in doing business with a supplier from LA, when I have very good vendors right here in WI. But I folded and agreed to try 2 at a resonable cost and get 2 "free". I was also told they could be returned in the first 30 days.
Well, 30 days came and went and we never even got a chance to try them out yet and now I get 2 more cartridges at 3 times the price! Also there is a 41.00 shipping fee!

I call, I have to wait 2 days for a return call and then I am told that they do not accept returns, but they would discount the shipping costs. oh, and send me a Home Depot gift card. HA.

We feel that American Computer Supplies are using improper sales techniques and their customer service leaves a lot to be desired as you can never talk to a rep when you call, you have to leave a voice mail message. (no, they do not have voice mail)
