I recieved a card in the mail stating that my credit card had not been activated. I called the number because I did not apply for, nor have I recieved a credit card. I spoke to Phillip Bauman, who asked for my confirmation number, DOB, and SS#. Like an idiot I gave him this information, but I was suspicious, and once he requested my Bank information, I knew there something up. I asked for written information that I could review before agreeing to anything, he said they couldn't send me any information that he couldn't give me over the phone.
Thats when I told him that I would have to research the company before I agreed to anything. I immediately got on the web and found this site. WWW is a wonderful tool, and I'm grateful to this site for giving folks the means to report this kind of scam. My next stop is the BBB, I want to make sure people know what this company is up to.

A few days after making my original report, I found a Merchants credit card in my mail box. The notice boasted "AT YOUR REQUEST" you have been approved for $6500 credit limit! I did not request this card and I plan to send the thing back to them in pieces!
