I got a yellow postcard in the mail at a time when I really needed money. Actually I can always use money as I'm a working single mom. I was apartment hunting and trying to figure out where I would ever be able to come up with the extra money I would need to be able to move. Deposits can kill you, and I don't make enough money to be able to put any away in savings. I had also just changed jobs.

Things were really hectic, and I was getting worried. When I read that card I though maybe it's for real. Maybe it will actually help. I haven't built up any credit of my own since my husband and I separated, and that's becoming more of an obstacle all the time. Credit is no longer something you can do without.

When I called, I tried to get information about the company, and got nothing but double talk, you know...the information will be in the mail. The operator explained the program to me and it sounded great. Then she started asking for my information, and when I balked she told me that if I didn't cooperate, she wouldn't be able to do anything for me at all. She said this is the way they always do it, and how much I would love the credit program.

Like a complete idiot I gave her all the information she asked for. Now after two monthes I'm watching my bank account like a hawk, because they still haven't taken out the $199.95 I authorized.

I have called several times and gotten nothing but an endless runnaround about how they can't do anything because my account is "in transmission". I called my bank and explained what was happening, and was told to monitor my account daily, and when the amount is finally deducted I have twenty four hours to call the bank and tell them to refuse to pay it.

Now I'm just checking and waiting. I feel like an idot, but even more I feel abused and taken advantage of. Have these people got no consience at all?! How can anyone work for a company like that?! I know times are hard, but you have to draw the line somewhere!

As far as I'm concerned, any one who is in any way affiliated with this company deserves to be brought up on charges. I hope someday I see that it has happened.
