Complaint Review: American Credit Solutions

I recieved a yellow card in the mail. I needed the money so I called to get my card activated. Venus Williams was her name. She asked me if I had a checking account, my bank name, address, telephone number.

She wanted to know if I had a job and with who. She asked for my work number and how long I was employed. Then she asked for my date of birth and SSN.

I asked her could that wait until I got more information. She said no, she would need it now to check to see if I qualify for the card. She put me on hold, came back and said I was approved for $4000 and will need to pay $199.95 to activate membership. I told her I did not have it.

She asked when would I have it. I told her I do not know maybe two weeks. She then said she could post date my payment. I told her no I will call back. She then says all of my inforamtion will be deleted and I may not qualify the next time I call back.

I said ok I will just have to take that chance. She then hungup on me. I wish I saw this webpage before I even called. I immediately notified my bank. I will be monitoring my account everyday! I just called today and thought I was getting a chance to start over. But I probably set myself back another 3years of getting out debt.
