I too had $199 taken out of my account. I filed a complain with the Better Business Bureau and received a letter stating that I would receive a refund (!) on the 24th of July. The refund came only in direct response to complaints to the BBB (the local branch is swamped with complaints about this company). When no refund came, I called and have been given the run-around for the last three weeks. I have been told that the "system was down" three different times, that my bank was the problem (twice) and that the money had already been deposited (it hasn't).

I finally reached a superviosr who is supposedly now handling my case (he goes by three different aliases - Eric, CK or KC - if you want to get through to a supervisor directly you can ask for him, although they claim that there is no Eric working there, if you are persistent they will put you through to a supervisor).

Eric claimed that the problem was with my bank and that he had talked to them but they wouldn't give him a "verification tracking number." I called the bank and no one from American Credite Solutions had called them and they said that there was no such thing as a verification tracking number. I had the bank call them directly, but Eric hung up when he realized that the bank was actually on the phone.

Is anybody putting together a class-action lawsuit against these people? If we band together perhaps we can get the refunds we were promised.
