I too am a victim of this company. I was told that I would receive 2 platnium VISA cards and would be able to go out and make purchases at any store I chose. Instead, I received a card for a merchadise catalog and a letter that stated Welcome to American Credit Solutions, blah, blah, blah, and concluding the information was that nice little phrase that everyone looks for. "If you are not completely satisfied simply call this number to receive your RAN# and instructions to return your package in resaleable condition."

The conversation that I had with them on August 6, 2002 promised me 2 cards, 200 dollars in vouchers, 100 rolls of film, the ability of make purchases anywhere, 0% interest until 2003, then it would increase to 6%, and a $4000.00 credit limit that would increase in just 3 on time payments.

When I received my package, I found that what they were really selling was the right to make purchases through a catalog that they no doubt own. After reading the enclosed information, I was very upset to think that even after making a $99.00 purchase and 3 on time payments of $33.00, I could then complete the enclosed application for a VISA card, mail it in and I may be eligible to receive it.

On September 18, 2002 I contacted American Credit Solutions and told them that I was not satisified, I was told that in order for them to refund my money, they will have to review the tapes of our conversations to see if there was a misrepresentation. If so they will gladly refund my money, if not, then I am stuck with this.

I was very clear when I told the representative "so this is how you and your company are scamming the public now".

I find the actions of this company appauling and they should be shut down. All of the representatives as well as the management should be fined or jailed. For fraud, they all know that the information they are feeding the public is nonsense, so they are all guilty.
