My teenaged son received a bright yellow card in the mail which read: THIS MAY BE YOUR FINAL NOTIFICATION, it also included the approved credit limit of $4000.00 a platinum, unsecured membership.

They wrote on the back of this yellow card the following: Dear A C we are notifying you that your credit card has not been activated. Our records show this card to have an approved line of credit of $4000.00. It also stated this was his final notice. Of course I knew it had to be a scam because the mail comes to me, and there was never a credit card sent here.

I warn everyone who gets a card like this to READ the fine print. It reads that a person must have a current checking or savings account and be at least 18 years of age. I could go on about all the crap this little card was covered in, but I think that intelligent people should know better then to fall for this sort of scam. Don't bother calling them, and if you by chance did get sucked in, report them here and to your local Better Business Bureau, these idiots need to be stopped.

If you want credit ask your bank for a secured card, eventually they'll give you an unsecured one. People need to start paying better attention. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
