They sent me the moneygram via Fedex thinking that I would actually cash it & send the funds via western union, I knew this was a scam after the 1st email but I wanted them to send me the slip so that I have the tracking, shipping and all the information as possible to help stop this horrible crime! The moneygram was also dated 4 days prior to my first email to them.
Once I informed the suspect of my intentions I told them that they had to wait until the funds officially clear through my bank which could take 2-3 weeks. They told me it was cashable same day, but I refused in my emails to them & they have not responded since.
I also called this #: English 1-800-MONEYGRAM (1-800-666-3947)
to check the vailidity of the moneygram and was told it was not issued in my name.

The bad grammar and spelling SHOULD be a dead giveaway that it is a scam. Another thing, any time they mention wireing money it IS a scam.
