American Custom Hardsape, Inc. Daniel Garcia Did a sloppy job installing a patio Internet
Daniel Garcia came out on 03/02/2012 at laid the concrete
for a stamped patio. The job was supposed to take 3-4 days to complete
according to the contract and was supposed to have been completed on 03/04/2012
while the weather was nice. But, Daniel did not send his employees out until
03/07/2012 to complete the job, however, prior to them coming out it rained on
03/05/2012 and the cover that was put on the concrete was blown off and the
rain began to settle and dried before Daniel came back out to finish the work.
Daniel was called on Sunday 03/04/2012 and was informed that the plastic cover
had blown off and he stated the rain will not hurt the patio. On 03/08/2012
Daniel sent someone out to apply the paint to the patio, install the plates for
the lights and apply another coat of clear sealant to the patio. The individual
was suppose to come out at 9am on 03/08/2012 and did not show up. I called
Daniel he did not pick up his phone so I left a message letting him know that
no one showed up to complete the job. After informing Daniel via voice mail
that I was seeking legal advice regarding him not honoring his contract he
finally sent two employees out at 10:45am. Being that the rain had settled on
the concrete the concrete should have be sanded to smooth out the rough spots
and that was not done. The edges of the patio are rough and several parts of
the patio dried uneven and sloppy. Daniel
came out on 03/17/2012 and he was told about the areas of the patio that needed
resurfacing and sanded and another coat of clear sealant applied and he stated
that he would send someone out to make the proper adjustments to the patio.
According to the contract Daniel states that all work is warranted for a period
of one year. I called on 03/19/2012 and left a message for him to give me a
call to see when he would be coming out to correct the parts to the patio that
was discussed on 03/17/2012 at 11:59am and he did not return my call as of yet.
Anyone that uses this company to perform work should pay
close attention to what is stated in the contract. Daniel will verbally tell
the customer one thing but put the opposite in the contract without informing
the customer. Daniel constantly uses the weather as an excuse not to complete
the work after he obtain the money from the customer, which is completely due
before the work is complete. On top of everything they left the area around the
patio a mess.
