American Eagle Corporation - Kirby Distributor high pressure and deceitful sales techniques condoned by Kirby Ft. Myers Florida
My prayer for this company (American Eagle and *Kirby sales) is just KARMA. That they get what they gave. No mercy, none. May they live to be 100, then die alone and desolate in despair a true death of a salesman.
Last month My 89 year old grandmother was tricked into buying a vacuum she couldn't afford at monthly payments that left her practically no money for food. The bettewr business bureau and every agency I called was absolutely useless. When dealing with Kirby you are in the DARK AGES.
When we tried to get her out of it their finance company HOUNDED her relentlessly till she suffered a heart attack. As you are reading this now my Grandmother is in Lee memorial in serious condition not expecting to live thru the night.
Then they had the nerve to call this afternoon and ask if she wanted her house cleaned for 25 dollars!!!
Kirby and everyone associated with them are the devil and deserve nothing less then the best accommadations that hell can give them.

I am glad to here that your grandma is ok. I just dont think it is right for you to say all these bad things about kirby and there salesmen. I used to work for them and never once did I try to rip anyone off. If your grandma wanted to buy a vacume from me I would have sold it her to. Maybe if she can not handle her own finances you should step in and take control. The fact of the matter is she agreed to pay for something and has the obligation to do just that. I'm sure she did not tell the salesman that if she purchaced the machine she would not be able to eat anymore. If she did then I think you are the one to blame for letting her be in control of her financial situation. Maybe the problem is closer to home and it is just easier for you blame someone else.. JUST MY 2 cents

I just want to add that my grandmother is ok. It was an angina/anxiety attack.
We are still getting harrassed calls from the financing company tho'. So my cousins and I will be turning changing her number. Before this financing company worked for Kirby they must have been loan sharks in another life.
The Kirby co. and anyone who sells them are evil.
I never thought I would say that about a vacuum of all things. I even had my neieces and nephews throw out brave little taoster because it has a kirby in it.
I'm not kidding.
I sincerely hope someday someone brings a class action suite against that organization. Kirby has 11 pages of complaints on this site!!!
