I live in florida and I was able to get some information regarding the status of AED.

I also purchased a box office express machine and was looking forward to starting my video rental business by November, when I was supposed to recived the machine. Just like many of you I now hope to recove all ar at least part of my $40,700+.

Yesterday I drove down to Hollywood to see the offices of AED. As I expected the office was closed and locked. I spoke to the owner of the bulding and he said that there was a raided and AED was closed down by Federal agents. He described: "It was just like the movies."

I did some reaserch and found that the FTC has placed a temporary restraining order with asset freeze on a few affiliated companies and individuals including AED and and Jim McArthur. They are also in court trying to make it a permanent order, to prevent them from continuing doing business. All assets are frozen and were placed in recivership. The Order was filed in United States District Court.

Make sure you listen only to facts and not rumors and speculation. It is hard to stand to lose $40,000 or a busness that you have in place. But don't make it harder by torturing your self with unfouded information that some people are posting.

Be aware that this is larger that just AED and UTS. There are Five companies and five individuals listed on the court order. Their relationship is unknow to me.

Hope this helps.
