Complaint Review: American Express

American Express AMEX I feel Discriminated Upon by American Express Texas

This has to be the most discriminatory company I have ever seen, just because my name is Luis Sanchez and a Latino Man it does not mean that you company can treat Latinos like second class citizens. GoDaddy is charging for services I have not used for many years yet this company has backed Go Daddy since day one, why because I bet you they are a Big Customer for American Express.

GoDaddy is charging for services that have not been used for 4 years and continue to charge me yet American Express lets it happen. The conversations with your company have not only been demeaning, and one sided but for Hispanics we definitely don’t have the same privileges as the rest of your non minority members do and it can be seen by the demeanor and the sarcastic way they speak to you.

This has been my experience and this is the message that I will let everyone know on the different social and regular websites know about American express. YES Membership has its privileges but NOT IF YOUR HISPANIC

Of course you aren’t going to share the audio recording. That’s because it doesn’t exist. You fabricated your claim of discrimination. Thanks for clarifying!

I am unable to view the account notes because I am not and have never been an Amex employee. An Amex employee would not encourage you to publicsize your evidence of discrimination.

If you actually have legally recorded conversations with Amex that support your claim of discrimination then you should post them on a public web site. The public outcry from such an incident may give you a great deal of satisfaction. I believe your claim to be untrue and don’t expect you to accept the challenge.

The response given is typical of American Express, they cant even read their own comments on the file. The first time I was ripped off was 4 years ago and that I let go, the second time I spoke up and it just happened 2 months ago and they told me on that it was too late, I guess card members dont have priviliges unless your a company like GoDaddy that can legally RIP OFF PEOPLE when you have American Express helping them

Will you upload the audio recordings to a public site such at YouTube? Then post the web address on this thread.

Were you given express authorization to record the phone conversations?

This service was cancelled in 2014. In 2016 they billed me and I paid it because they said they never received a cancellation in 2014. I again cancelled when the charge was paid in 2016.

Now in 2018 again I get charged and again they claim it was not cancelled yet they wont send you anything stating the service was cancelled. I did everything I could to fight it with American Express but GoDaddy sends them info of the button I pressed when I agreed to the service to have auto bill the charges, which that too is questionable, yet American Express beleives them as they are one of American Express biggest credit card and travel customer.

As far as the Discrimination part i have recordings of the conversations that lead me to beleive what I wrote on my comment.

You have 90 days to dispute charges. That is the policy for all cardholders, not just Latinos.

Why did you wait 4 years to dispute the charges?
