Complaint Review: American Express bluebird card from Walmart

American Express bluebird card from Walmart Reloaded money on primary card tried to transfer to sub account for minor grandchild money never made it into the sub account. Have called 7 times in the last 7 days because I checked and it did not get into my grandsons account. Glitch?NO THEFT! Salt Lake City Utah

I reloaded my primary bluebird that I purchased for my grandson. Since he is a minor he is my sub account. He lives in another city I thought is was great way to get him funds. Friday nov.16 2013 I was alerted he had a low balance slightly below $10. I went to walmart and put $40.00. Transferred immediately to his card , checked on it and it never made it to his sub account. However it disappeared from the primary account. I have been calling the American Express bluebird customer service for more than a week.  8 times to be exact. I have been told they have a glitch in the system. For more than a week?

i have been put on hold so many times , it's a waste of time. Extremely disappointed in American Express. Would never do business with them again and I feel like they have stolen this money. I plan on contacting my state attorney generals office to see what action can be taken.  How unfortunate for everyone who has also had their money stolen by this company. I contacted walmart where I reloaded my card, I have my receipt but unfortunately they cannot refund the money. 

Something needs to be done, I can only imagine the amount of money they are holding onto. It seems to me this is completely illegal at the least.
