On April 18, 2015 I checked my American Express Serve Card because I was going to pay a bill. The bill was $400.00, and after making a purchase from Fresh Direct.com I had approximately $368.00 dollars available.

However, on April 20, 2015 I checked my balance and discovered that I only had $9.72 dollars in my account. Immediately, I called American Express to ask them what happened to the funds in my account.  There were two transactions totalling $262.00 from Target.

I explained to AMEX that I did not make any charges and they sent me a Fraud Dispute document. I filled out the document and received an email from AMEX telling me that "Based upon our investigation we have determined that no error occurred and that transaction in question was authorized.

Therefore this transaction is not eligible for credit to your Account." With that said, I never made any purchases from Target and did not authorize anyone to do so.

I asked them how did they come to this determination when I had never made any purchases from target, or authorized anyone else to do so, and all I keep getting is correspondence from American Express Serve that says  "Based upon our investigation we have determined that no error occurred and that transaction in question was authorized."

In essence American Express Serve refuses to return money for fraudeulent charges in the amount of $262.00 and will not give any information how they came to that determination.
