Complaint Review: American Family Insurance

American Family Insurance I was a passenger in a car accident 11/15/08 & I was injured. After my PIP was exhaused, American Family Insurance failed to settle with me to pay for my medical bills. Madison , Wisconsin

After a lengthy wait of over 2 1/2 years, American Family Insurance did not offer me a settlement to pay for my pain & suffering nor my medical bills! I was forced to take the person that hit our car (we were t-boned) to court for negligence. We lost (it was deemed no fault). American Family Insurance has left me, the passenger in this auto accident, with lost wages, large medical bills & chronic pain that I cannot afford to get treatment for.
This company is cruel- and it does not look after it's customers: my husband & myself were holders of a automotive protection policy as was the man who hit us. What good it did me!
