Please be careful online.

American Financial Card is a ripoff, the website doesn't work, they took $200 from me telling me it was a VISA card. They lied. They never answer the phones. I've filed a Better Business Bureau claim against them. They claim they have people on tape. IF enough of us call the Attorney General in FL we should get some where with this guy named SAVAS ARVANITAKIS who is supposed to be the president of the company. The girl I talked to didn't know who he was or who MS. KIM HAUGHTON, Compliance MGR. was either. This company is a fraud! PLease notify the authorities. My bank suggested I call the police. I'm going to email them. Any ideas let me know....(((ROR REDACTED)))

Comgratulations on your refund!

I did some research along with my bank and got the number of the company that provides the software which allows Americn Financial to debit accounts. They glady gave me the number they had on file once I told them the story of how American Financial has been conducting business with their software. I have been unable to reach a person, but will continue to try. Now that I have the software company's number, if they change this number, I will just get their new one again and I will continue to post it on the internet until these dogs have nowhere else to hide.

I will be contacting the Largo PD and the FTC to file complaints against American Financial. Thank you for that information. Alos, I have also asked my bank to post a notice informing the public about these scams. The best defense against them will be educating people.

Resolution

Just a quick note for the resolution and a happy one it is. For those of you who have not received refunds or the company is refusing them....you might want to contact and file a police report with the Largo, FL PD. I did. Talk with the internet detective there in FL and they may be able to help you. They helped me receive a refund in a timely manner. Good Luck.

Also, you may want to file a report with the Federal Trade Commission. It was recommended that I do that to further prove my claims.
