Complaint Review: American Freedom Insurance

 I was in an accident with one of American Freedom Insurance clients and it was her fault. The accident occurred on December 12, 2013. She rear-ended me. My agent had to file the claim. It took several days to get hold of someone at American Freedom Insurance. They told my agent that they agreed that it was their client's fault. Each time I called I would get a different answer. First, it was that their client was not calling them back. I went and got the estimate for my car from their provider and sent in my paperwork. I had to call American Freedom again and again, they said their client has never responded , but it will go to review. On February 10, 2014, I called again and talked to Mitch. Again, I was told that their client has not called them back or sent in her paperwork. I was told that since ice was involved that both parties might be at fault - I told him that was in the police report to begin with. I asked him what the estimate was for my car and he refused to tell me. Next Mitch said have your insurance company pay and they can go after us. That's their game - they don't want to pay. They'll do the same thing to my insurance company. Bottom line - it is now February 10 and after 2 months nothing has been resolved. I have done everything on my side but they have done nothing on theirs.
