American Freedom Insurance ripoff '' Brooker Firm without uncertified personal,noneresponsive, CSR unfriendly, rude, unprofessional Arlington Heights Illinois

stolen vehicle report was made on 12-06-03 Mitsubishi Lance 2003.

While my daughter Stephanie was visting friends house in Woodridge Illinois, my daughter left her car keys and purse on the table while visting. When she was ready to leave she ask her boy friend to get her purse and coat, when he returned he informed her that her keys were not on the table or in the other room where most of there friends personal things were.

All there friends were still at the house except for one person who we later found out that was seen with her car keys by one of my daughters girl friends. Insurance company called 12-08-03 Monday claim$# given 110265 was informed by CSR that if car is not returned or located within 45 days payment will be made with the next (2) week, car was recovered by Maywood police on 12-16-03 Dectective Bob Valenta went to take pictures of vehicle. Car was taken to Maywood Auto Pound I called American Freedom Insurance to inform there office and spoke with CSR Letechia and was told that there tow truck service would pick up my vehicle the very next morning 12-17-03. my vehicle was picked up and taken to Bloomberg Auto Body

Shop in Roselle Illinois on lake street 630-594-6688 manger Aaron. On 12-21-03 Affidavit and police report mailed out to American Freedom Insurance, with one week of recovery I faxed over copy of Affidavit Report to Insurance company and then mailed out all originals including all documents that needed to be filled out by owner of vehicle and statements and Affidavit certified mail to American Freedom Insurance.

On 12-30-03 I called Insurance company to ask about pending claim I was informed that because of Christmas everything was back logged. I was told to call back in about 2 weeks, I called again on January 9,2004 I spoke with Letechia she informed me that claim was waiting to be disscussed with the review board, I also called the auto body shop, they informed me that they were waiting for the keys to inspect inside of car and that estimate for all outside damages had been sent to American Freedom Insurance.

On January 19,2004 I went to Bloomingberg Autobody Shop in Roselle to take the keys to owner and to inspect the vehicle. Damages were to front left, side, tire, and rim. Rear of car right and left around trunk area large demts and holes. Top hood of car had scraces, in inside of trunk I found a females purse and ID along with personal items there were also blood stains on carpet and a pair of shoes that were left in trunk. In inside of the car I found black like dust all over vehicle.

On January 19,2004 Thursday I went to American Freedom Insurance Company about 3:30pm I spoke with the receptionst at the window in the lobby, very cold outside, I was told that I could not talk with anyone about my vehicle. I asked the receptionist if I could leave my name and phone number so that someone could call me about my pending claim. On Febuary 18,2004 Wednesday, I called American Freedom Insurance Company about my pending claim receptionist informed me that noone was available to speak with me, so i left another message. The next day I called insurance company and spoke with receptionist Amber, inquireing about my pending claim and if I could speak to a representative reguarding claim again. I left voicemail messages on Letechia's phone.

On 2-20-2004 I recieved a call from Letehia American Freedom Insurance that noone was assigned my claim and now she will be responible for getting this claim reviewed. She infomed me that she needed to speak to my daughter Stephanie who was driving the car on the day that it was stolen. My daughter called her back that afternoon to give her a report on what happened the day that car was stolen.

After the Conversation Letechia said that she would call back on Monday 2-23-2004, I did not recive a call back from her on this date. So I called Insurance office on 2-26-2004 Thursday I spoke with receptionist Gagoda, I left messages an Letechia's voicemail again asking her to call me reguarding my claim. On 3-1-2004 still no call back from insurance company left message again on Letechia's voicemail extention 150. I called again on 3-18-2004 left messsage on Letechia's voicemail to have supervisor or claim representative to call me reguarding status of claim still no response back.

On 3-22-2004 I called Insurance company again and left message, I called auto body shop spoke with Ron still no approval from insurance company reguarding repair of vehicle. On 3-22-2004 I called Steve Wilks Insurance the broker company were I signed up originally for my car insurance were I have been a client for about 6-7 years with Vicky for my other vechicles. I spoke with my insurance rep. Vicky Girfen 630-620-4800 ext.12 located in Lombard reguarding the problem the that has been existing far too long since I have never had a problem paying my Insurance payment and to ask if she could please find out what was going on at American Freedom Insurance,later that day I recieved a call from Letechia American Freedom she wanted to speak to my daughter Stephanie Ingram again reguarding her report about what happened the day that car was stolen.

She spoke with her about twenty minutes and was very rude on the phone she asked several questions trying to get her to change information given in the first report. After keeping my daughter on hold for about 15
minutes or more my daughter asked her questions about the report and when the claim would be approved Letechia was very rude refused to answer anything and hung up the phone.

On that day after the conversation with Letichia I called Vicky Gerfen to have my daughter speak with her to inform her of how rude Letechia CSR from American Freedom was on the phone.

April 5,2004 Monday I spoke with her she was waiting to here back from the Brooker from American Freedom, but he had not returned the call back. On April 07,2004 received call back from Vicky that Brooker could'nt get information from American Freedom and that prehaps I should call Springfield Insurance Commission 217-782-4515 I did try to go online to send a report on 4-04-04 but it did'nt go through, I was informed when I called that it will take 21-30 days to give American Freedom Insurance Company time to response back in reguards to complaints or denie or except claim. Still no respone as of this date from American Freeddom.
