I have a home in FL on 5 acres and lived there about 15 years, paid high interest. I signed up and had mortagage insurance and then got a call they cancelled it due to medication I was on. I have been on the same job 30 years never late with a payment, then went through a horrible divorce and other issues called them and they would not help me keep my home. I rented it out  to a family that wanted to buy it and made sure I paid the mortgage every month.  I then found a supposedly honest business owner with money that took it over and said he would purchase it in a year or so.  He had trouble paying online or on phone and would call me I would fax them a letter of authorization to allow him to pay. They knew the situation I was in and knew he was in the home.  I have not heard a word from them in 7 years, all of a sudden there is a new company Caliber that took the loan and I am in foreclosure, the tenant owed 29,000.00 and no one called me?  When I asked why someone never told me they said they are only to have one contact which was the crooked tenant and they had no way of contacting me.  I said well you had foreclosure papers served on me in my new home?  I feel they were the biggest rip off company I ever dealt with.  I am 62 years old and disabled, blind in one eye.  I could have just walked away from the home but tried to keep the mortgage paid.  Now they want to sue me, ruin my credit I worked so hard to repair.  I remarried and we purchased a cheaper smaller home out of state.  They are negligent in allowing this to happen.  It is ruining my life, I cannot sleep. I feel the amount of money I paid them in 15 years covers the home.  They now added thousands of dollars with court costs etc which I have no money now and getting ready to go on social security with no retirement. I was also ripped off and scammed by the business owner, I will make a seperate report.
