American general home warranty They took my money for a one year combo plan. Firstly, it took them a lot g time to take the money out of my account which changed my start date. That change occurred right when my dryer went out so they refused to cover it even though they verbally told me what my start date was. Of course they changed the start date to their advantage. Now it's been 6 weeks that I've had a claim in for my broken a/c unit and after repeated calls where they stated my claim would be fast tracked to a 24 hour emergency status, they now have stopped answering their phone, my unit is still broken and I can't even get my money back! This is a lot of money for me and I need the unit fixed as it is also my heat unit and I've frozen all winter and now it's going to go into the hot season. I would really like to know what legal remedy I have. This is such a rip and they should not get away with this. I did my online homework as well, they were rated pretty high so something has happened. Perhaps this is a hijacked site now? Please help anyone!

 They have disappeared with my home warranty money and now will not respond either by phone or online! I have a medical emergency which requires that my heat and air conditioning work and it doesn't. They used to respond by phone and lied that my claim would be fast tracked. Lies!
