I got the same call, pretty much verbatim. I was suspicious right away, but since I almost hung up on a guy telling me about a home entertainment center I had ACTUALLY WON, I gave this guy with a Pakistani accent the benefit of the doubt.

He told me that I was going to recieve a minumum of five thousand dollars, perhaps as much as twenty five thousand. Then he went into the second part of his pitch. He said the funds would be given to me either in the form of a check, a bank transfer, or reimbursement of bills. Then, he asked me for my bank information.

I told him there was no way I was going to give that information out to a perfect stranger over the phone. He said that he understood, and that was fine. I then said I hoped he understood my suspicions, as things that sound too good to be true, usually are. At that point, he hung up.

After that, I did a few internet searches and ended up at this website.
