I spoke with this person from American Grant services and by the name Michael Shiwprasad and he said that he was with transunion and told me he could overnight me a package stating a letter of release form so they can transfer 9000 dollars in my bank account and also we had a 3 way telephone conversation with my Credit Union. I sent him $249.00 overnight and he gave me a telephone number to call in the company name American Grant Services and I did speak with a person and that person said that my form was released on April 3 and yet I still havent received it in which it should have been overnighted to me. I have been ripped off by this company and I demand my money back. The number keeps saying they receive over 100-200 calls a day and to leave a message. I need help and if there is anyone out there that can help me please contact me.

Having funds returned to you

I too have been ripped off by American Grant Services and did not realize this until my fourth phone call to them. I asked where they were located and then did a little investigating on my own.

If you wired funds to this company from your credit union return to the CU and request to file a dispute form. State that you have not received the goods for which you paid.

I too went to my bank and had the funds returned to me by filing a dispute form. Also, when I went to my local branch I basically told them everything that had happened and that I too believed they were legit because the man who called stated that he was from TransUnion and then provided me with information that was in my credit report.

May I also suggest that you file complaints with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and your state Attorney Generals Office.

I wish you the best of luck in getting back your funds and hopefully this company will no longer be able to scam another unsuspecting victim again.
