These guys are at it again and I'm wondering if anyone can truley stop them. American Health Access LLC(owner Dwight Smith aka Stan Smith) is one of the telemarketing rooms recently busted for selling National Better LIving Association limited indemnity plans like real major medical insurance policies. They did a Dateline NBC special on these offices exposing with their hidden cameras exactly how the sales reps lie, steal, and cheat good people out of their hard earned money. After the airing of the show they went into hidding to give the illusion that they had shut down. NOT TRUE!!!!!!! They contracted with another Association called Affiliated Workers Association and are now operating at new office locations. One of those secret undisclosed offices is located at 1001 Main street in Midlothian Texas and the phone number is 877-475-8999. Do not buy these fake insurance policies!!!!!! Marla the star of the Dateline NBC special is still working and still lying Im sure. Along with the other reps employeed by this scandelas company. We cannot stop them... They move offices and change their company name so they cannot be pursued legally. They have so much money and power behind them they seem untouchable. Watch out whatever you do!!!! If you dont recognize the company DONT BUY IT!!!!!!!!! I wish someone could get these guys closed down foreal.

I had American Health Access contact me after I inquired on medical insurance online, and checked the rip off report on this company before I engaged in doing business. I did find that the original report is erroneous, and misleading; this company never sold NBLA products (I verified this) and was never involved with any insurance scam. I am a person with medical conditions and was denied by several insurance carriers before this company, American Health Access, contacted me. After talking with their representative, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I was insurable through any company, (having failed time and time again), and found that the representative I had was very forth-coming and straight forward as to what the plan I was considering covered. I consider myself an intelligent person, and after having doing due diligence, enrolled on the plan. I've now been a member and have used the benefits for over 6 months, and am very satisfied as to how the plan reduces the total costs of my medical services. I've not only saved a lot of money, but also a substantial amount of time scheduling my medical tests, etc, as their customer service is very friendly and empathetic by helping me find more cost effective facilities and such. I would recommend others with pre-existing conditions looking for insurance to American Health Access any day. I'm grateful I was contacted by this company.
