The story starts with my fianc and I signing a contract on Feb. 14th, 2000, it is now Nov 1st 2000 and we are still waiting. We have had numerous problems with American Heritage Homes, here are just a few:

Problem: Truss Lines are already showing with massive sag between each truss. Along the same area as the roof leaked about two months ago.
Superintends Response (Roger Tate & Randall Wheeler): That is common with most new homes today, every home in this area has truss lines showing

Problem: Light fixture has been installed in walkway. So as you enter the house you hit your head on the light.
Superintends Response (Roger Tate): Yeah, (laughing), I know I hit my own head on the light myself, but even though it's properly placed in the model, we are not going to fix it

Problem: Superintends refuse to meet with us to discuss our concerns about the construction problems.
Superintends Response (Randall Wheeler): Roger does not have to meet with you, he does not have time to meet with homeowners to discuss every little problem

These are just a couple of our problems, so please do your homework before purchasing a house from this company.

Thanks,
Scott McDowell
