Our mortgage was sold to this company and it has been a nightmare! They claim that were we were short in our escrow $2000 (pretty much the whole amount due) However, The taxes were paid and looking at our old statements, they took enough out of escrow every month to cover it. We called numerous times, and are unable to speak to someone with good English. We have received explanations that make no sense...such as " We are projecting what you will owe next year" They have ruined my husbands credit and added on numerous late fees as well as are threatening foreclosure. We still make our payment every month, but refuse to add the extra 200 a month on that they want for the alleged escrow shortage that no one can explain to us. I cannot believe we have never had a problem before with any mortgage company and now we may lose our home when we have never even missed a payment! I have read online the complaints along with the F better business bereau rating and feel hopeful that someone can end this madness and help us!
