American Home Shield Failure to Get Job Done ZERO Customer Satisfaction Rip Off and Run-around. Long Time Service Delay Carroll Iowa

Requested Service for repair of Broken Refrigerator.
AHS assigned an "Authorized Contractor" named Appliance Surgeons, out of Huntsville, AL. My Home is 90 miles away in Birmingham.

Two Days Later on June 21, 2006, Appliance Surgeons came. Said they needed to order a part ( Common Relay-Overload part)And said it would be in within 7-to-10 days. After that time period I began to call Appliance Surgeons. At least Five or Six calls were made. Got answering machines. Never got a call back from them about the STATUS. Over the next MONTH I spoke with no less than TEN AHS reps, each giving a different story, apologies, promises to get it worked out with their contractor. I call it the run-around.

It is July 23, 2006...and I still have not received satisfaction.

THE AHS contract says the company will respond, "Efficiently, and a qualified contractor will do the work, and customer satisfaction is guaranteed." In My case, None of the above apply.

The contractor has been NON-Responsive, proved to be totally inept, and Un-Concerned about repairing my problem .

AHS has given me nothing but excuses, lip service regarding customer satisfaction, and empty promises of aide. This scenario, in my opinion, is tantamount to comsumer fraud and totally irresponsible and unconsionable. The entire episode has called me grave distress, anxiety, and many sleepless nights.
I need my refrigerator. I demand customer satisfaction.
