I needed a new ac compressor in May the service guy came out and looked at it and then took the old one away, at that time he took the fuse out of the shut off box out side.

The house was empty for a few months with no power they came back out in Oct to put in the new compressor and start up the unit. The people who live there stated it never worked after they fixed it(HA HA) I was told about this problem when it got cold in FL.

That was DEC 02 the tech went out again and looked at the unit and said the compressor was bad and that it was not cover due to improper use of the unit?

I asked for a second apoin on this matter and they set out some one eles who looked at the unit and said that the bypass was imprable placed and that all future repairs on this unit would more than likely not be covered.

I have called American Home Sheild every week for at least 2hours on this matter. They do not believe anything that the customer has to say. they will only belive is there contractors.

Even if what was done was elegal they do not care. Iasked to speak to the owner of this company and was told there is no way you could even find out who the owner was cause they are a Service MAster company which is also part many other company.

I will be cancleing my contract with them when we go to court in the state of FL on this matter. Cause i will now have to put in a brand new unit cause no one will touch it with the bypass the way it it.. this company has no CUSTOMER SERICE at all.

If you are thinking about this company double check these reports. or look up court cases on the company mine will be files in Duval county in FL.
