Complaint Review: American Home Shield Of Arizona

Do Not Use American Home Shield!!! This company takes pride in ripping people off. We have had them for 3 year and over the past year have had nothing but problems. This year we had a leak in our bathroom while our house was for sale. I put the emergency call in to avoid any water damage. No one called me in the advised time frame. I called again and was given a date and time.

I took the day off work b/c they gave me a 9-6pm window. No one showed up, but AHS decided to call that night at 9pm to advise us the tech was running a bit late...After I complained the tech called me that monday and threated me. I called AHS and told them to send out someone else.

After a week of a leak and frustation we had some major water damagage which of course was not their fault nor did they cover! So like a fool we listened to our real estate agent and went with them again, hmm to ya think the agents are getting kick backs? Well now after finding out we had in adquate coverage I added more. The $210 was supposed to be broken into 3 payments. Well in the true AHS form the entire amount was charged.

Now after 2 months they are claiming that I never called to request the $210 refunded and gee now that it has been 3 months I would have paid that already. Here is the kicker...they sent a check for our agent to our house for money they owed us pretty close to the amount they owed us. I assumed it was for me and now have to write our agent a check for their mistake! Be smart and do not use them. The time and frustation is not worth it!
