I am a lifelong Honda customer. I have owned 5 Honda's. I purchased as the second owner only, a Honda CRV 7 months ago. It is 6 years old. The AC works infrequently. Most of the time it blows only warm air.

I recieved a Warranty Extension due to a problem with these vehicles of the A/C Compressor Clutch. Every reason for this notice stated...I am experiancing! The warranty extension states, "provides coverage for the original owner and any subsequest owners..."   "extending the warranty on the A/C Clutch to 7 years from original purchase date OR 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Hence the problem...

I have owned this vehicle 7 months. It is not yet 7 years old but I've just gone over the 100,000 mile mark. When I called the number on this recall, the service operators (two) flat out refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor! I spoke of the importance of my need to speak with a supervisor as my AC is doing exactly what the recall states, and that I've only had the vehicle 6 months. I understand that I am just over the 100,000 miles but perhaps they will honor my request for service due to the facts stated.

The most important is that I am a LIFELONG HONDA CUSTOMER!!! No difference what was stated, they out right refused to put a supervisor on the phone.  The second of the two reps. I spoke with, did speak to her supervisor who then refused to get on the phone at all!!!! HOW APPALLING!!!!! Do the CEO's of HONDA know this is how their high paying managers are treating their  customers?  Not even the courtesy of speaking to a manager? 

I have been in management my entire life and have NEVER ONCE declined a customer who has asked to speak with me! I am so dumbfounded!!!!! I will now attempt to reach any and all CEO's of Honda and make sure they know how their customers are being treated! I also will spread the word to EVERYONE I KNOW, professionally or personally, as to the treatment I recieved! Unless Honda reached me and does the right thing, which would be to honor this recall part, I will never again purchase a HONDA OF ANY KIND and will discourage anyone from doing so in the future, as they will not stand behind their products!!!!! They won't even give you a chance to speak to anyone with authority!
