I was involved in an accident on June 15th, 2013. The insurance company sent an appraiser to my house on the 19th. On the 20th, I was informed they had deemed the vehicle a total loss and that I would receive a call from the Total Loss Claims Adjuster to determine the replacement cost value of my vehicle. On June 24th, I called the claims agent to verify what steps I needed to take next and to follow up with her since I had not received a call by that Friday (21st) to confirm what I needed to do next. At this point she asked me why I thought my vehicle was a total loss, as I proceeded to inform her that I had spoken with her on Thursday and she had notified me that they deemed it a total loss. She said well I just received the information today so how would I have known the vehicle was a loss? I said I have no idea, just going off what you stated. She then replied, oh ok I do see here now and remember speaking with you on Thursday. She said the claim was input in the system as a LOSS but no values were given. She then stated we could expect a call with figures by Friday the 28th.

On Saturday, June 29th I received a FEDEX package from the insurance company. Enclosed was a letter requesting original title and keys, along with a power of attorney, affadavit, and a few other items from Aaron Young- adjustor. When I seen all of this I was like, WHAT? So I call the insurance company and am told I will have to leave messages for the adjustor. I leave messages and do not receive call backs within a reasonable amount of time, therefore, I contact them today July 3rd, 2013 and am told I could speak with the adjustors supervisor, Stacy Craig. I made numerous attempts to contact her today and have left messages for her, as well as Aaron. At one point, I contacted Stacy and she answered and replied "You must not realize I have NUMEROUS calls ahead of you and you will just have to hold on!" She then proceeded to place me on hold as I assumed, although I could hear her in the background discussing everything other than work-related material. I was on hold for her for about 15 minutes so I then decided to contact her by means of another phone at the same time. She answered the first ring and said ok may I have your claim number. I gave it to her and said you will have to hold a moment. I was then on hold for another 20 minutes until I said I have had enough!

At this point I am most likely going to be filing a claim with the state of georgia insurance department and will fight this all the way until this company is shut down!

Any thoughts and suggestions wanted!
