I was placed into an advanced degree program, and when I called to complain they assured me that I would get my program changed. This was before I had gotten my financial aid done so they were very helpful to me at first. When I told them that I had my GI bill money approved they lost interest and told me that I would be changed to a different academic advisor for another program.

I NEVER received a call from any advisor and the job that I have on the railroad deny's me the time to call and babysit them everyday for a response. I logged in to see if my classes were being withdrawn from my program and they had not been, so I called them and they told me not to log in anymore so I didn't.

I never received another call from the so called university and instead received a bill for 1488 dollars. When I called to talk to them about it all I got was another run-around, but more than what I had received when I needed help ofcourse, because the bottom line for this AIU scam is money.

I told them that I understood paying for the book I had opened for the first class I tried for a couple of days to do, but besides that I should not be held accountable because I requested to be withdrawn from that program that they rushed to place me in. I was told that this was MY fault, and that I should have not logged in to check my status and apparently should have use my psychic powers to see if I had been placed into the lower level program I requested in the first place.

I wasn't aware of this rip-off report or else I would have gotten on here before I made arrangements to pay the amount that I supposedly owed them. Since they never placed me in the lower level program I never received G.I. Bill money to help me cover the costs, unless they received it for me, but I cannot be sure of that.

After all of that I noticed that I was never sent a ledger of my payments that I had made and the amount left to be paid monthly, and when I called to ask for one I was told that I should have remembered the orginal amount and kept track of it myself by a very rude employee that was obviously doing me a favor by sending me one.

Although she was rude LaRaeshanna Anders was the only AIU employee that actually ever did what she said she would by sending me a one-time ledger card (I have to call and request one monthly from now on). They were not reluctant to send me my bill, but when it comes to sending me a simple ledger I have to request it myself.
