I had a consultation with American Laser Centers in White Plains New York. The representative I spoke with verbally guaranteed hair loss from my legs. She also said that most people see complete results in just 6 treatments, but there is a 2 year guarantee for those who take longer. I specifically asked "What happens after the 2 year guarantee when I still have hair on my legs" and she responded "That never happens"
A year and a half into treatments (probably 12 treatments later) I had maybe a 50% reduction in hair - still having to shave every day with my dark hair and light skin (supposedly, this made me an ideal candidate). I contacted corporate headquarters with my concerns that the treatment was not working as they had said. I was promised that they would extend my treatments an additional 6 months.

6 months later, I was contacted that my 2 years were up and even though I still have significant hair on my legs, I would have to pay $1000's more for a new package for "hair reduction." No one had any record of corporate headquarters promising an additional 6 months. And all of a sudden, no one was guaranteeing anything. They told me 70% reduction is good results and there is no guarantee for 100% results. I would never have paid $3000+ initially if I was aware that results were not guaranteed. And then to be lied to a second time by the head of the Northeast, promising me an extension and then denying it - is really terrible. I feel totally ripped off. Don't let it happen to you. I don't take any hormonal medication. I don't take birth control pills, I don't have any diseases that would cause me to develop new hair cells. The treatments do not work.

Further, they say they are certified medical professionals. Not one of the technicians is a doctor. One girl bragged to me that she had been doing treatments since she was in high school. She just had to take a summer training course.
