American Laser Centers, ALC Sneeky, manipulative, coercive company that will totally SCAM you! Lee's Summit Missouri
This company called me to say I won a $300 gift certificate. They said why don't you come in for a "FREE" consultation and see what we're all about. I was curious, so I agreed. During the consultation, I was told that the "gift certificate"(which I never saw)would expire at the end of the consulte and I really need to sign up for something that day. I was a little uneasy, but I did it anyway.
This was on a Saturday-I couldn't/wouldn't do a treatment on that day-so they set up an appointment for Monday and ran my card. (for aprox. $350). Apparently I signed an agreement stating that if I cancelled then I would still owe them 10%. I was not given that paper until I returned to their office on Monday to request a credit to my account. I was told that she couldn't process my request(which needs to be sent through corporate). I said OK, "Give the form so that I can get this process started." She(Melissa) handed me a blank piece of copy paper and has me write a cancellation request. She then says "Oh, I cant't send this in until you pay the 10% to me now. I DIDN'T. She tells me that she can't send in my request then. I am currently disputing the charges to my card.
This company totally ripped me off! I received NO treatments and they still want to charge me.

Stacy **** was refunded in October. I never twist arms. She could simply state no. The $300.00 was a gift certificate.
