American loans.com Matthew Cooper scam artist liar wanted $365.00 for $3500.00 loan then wanted additional $422.00 to activate loan, Internet
I received a loan approval online from Americanloans.com for $3500.00 I was told my scheduled payments would be $365.00 permonth for 9 months.
I was told I had to give the first payment as a good faith effort and would be receiving $3865.00 through Western Union.
Once I got to Western Union the man on the phone told me not to use the company name but to send the money to an individual name Lopez Mora Nuria in Costa Rico then in 30 minutes I would receive my confirmation # to receive my loan.
When I was called back with the confirmation # I was told to Mike Harden from Washington DC was the supervisor who approved my loan and summons me $4287.00. I would have to send them $422.00 to activate the loan process. When I refused to send any more money they got very rude with me and hung up on me.
I called back three times to talk to the supervisor and they would never get him on the phone and hung up on all three times.

Hello!
I am with American Loans and can assure you this review is false.
It is false because this review claims American loans ONLY does business in the state of Utah and the user who left this review is from North Carolina. It also claims American Loans offered them a payday loan, which is a service we do NOT provide and never have in the past.
As you know, online reputation is very important to a company and I want to ensure there are only truthful reviews left about American Loans.
Thank you!

This is completely incorrect and slanderous, American Loans and americanloans.com does NOT do payday loans, we only do mortgages in the state of Utah. The complainant has been ripped off by somebody impersonating our company and the phone numbers you have are not our numbers. Our phone number is 801-262-2221 or 801-269-0900. If he would have called us or gone to our web site americanloans.com he could have contacted us and would have been informed that we only do business in the state of Utah, that we don't do payday loans but only mortgages and that he was being scammed. We have filed a complaint with the local FBI office, anybody interested in the case can call me and I will provide you with the case number and the FBI agent's information, you can contact me at the phone numbers I have provided.
Unfortunatly scammers use legitimate business like ours to solicit upfront fees to provide a loan.A customer should never send money upfront to get a loan, in addition, they should check out the company very carefully before providing personal information.Notwithstanding the fact that the complainant didn't take the necessary precautions before he was ripped off, this doesn't justify to have our company name and our website being accused of something we would never do.We have been in business for 20 years, we have never had complaints from customers or lenders, we have been approved by federal and state agencies in all our operations and procedures and now to be accused in your site of doing something so low as to stealing a few hundred dollars from people who are looking for payday loans is slanderous and humiliating.I will be glad to provide you with whatever evidence you need, but only a couple of phone calls to the local Department of Real Estate or Financial Institutions will prove who we are.
