American Long Distance Moving and Storage This moving broker pretended to have contracted with an actual mover when in fact it did not, which led to costly delays and eventual shipment of only half the property contracted. Oakland Park Florida

ALDM&S pretends to arrange an actual shipping company to induce you to wire it a down payment but in my case it clearly sold me on its service before actually contracting. It then went out and tried to sell the paper/contract to shippers while I waited and waited and waited, incurring huge costs in the meantime. An industry insider clued me in, as did the fact that ALDM&S could not tell me the name of the shipping company even though they had repeatedly blamed the costly and repeated delays on "the driver."

Several companies working in concert eventually picked up and delivered approximately half of what the broker promised, weeks late. Thus far, ALDM&S has refused my request for a refund, or even to negotiate a settlement, so my next stop, after posting this review wherever I can, will be to alert federal and state authorities about this sophisticated wire fraud scam.
