Like many others, I received the same call stating that they had a qualified buyer for my timeshare at a great price and that they needed my credit card to charge me for the up front title search and other fees. "John" was very persistent in pressing the time angle, saying that the buyer would walk if I didn't agree to fork over the card number now. When I asked him to mail me the documents as well as information about his company, he refused, citing timeliness as the excuse. When I pressed him on the whether his refusal to use the USPS to send me documents was because he was trying to avoind mail fraud charges, I got a few seconds of silence.

I of course passed on his very generous offer.
I found it vvery interesting, and a little telling that when he did forward via email the "contract" document that I would have to sign in order to have them move forward (document wa VERY scetchy), the return email address was a GMail account. C'mon!
