To whom it may concern at American Medical Partners:
I've been taking Testosterone injections for over 8 years, including the transdermal patch. The patch was useless for me, but the injections worked well, but not without unfavorable side-affects. So, I was anxious to try a hormone supplement product to replace the painful injections, but I was very skeptical about the success of an oral product.

In November '01 when I phoned to inquire about the possibility of the Testosterall replacing the injected hormone, the salesman at AMP assured me of its high success rate. He particularly noted the "30-day satisfaction guaranteed" refund policy available with this hormone replacement product.

When I made him aware of the long-term need for testosterone replacement with weekly injections and the unlikely expectation for success of an oral product after only a one month trial period, the salesman again assured me of the great success rate of the Testosterall & the refund guarantee. He also recommended trying the "two month kit" to assure its effectiveness in replacing the painful weekly injections.

When I inquired about the 30-day guarantee on two months worth of Testosterall product, he again assured me that it should be effective AND that the guarantee could be extended for a two
month period to assure its effectiveness in replacing my particular long-term injections.

So, for approximately 54 days, I stopped the testosterone injections and replaced them with the Testosterall supplement along with the recommended 4 step testosterone-enhancing diet as
directed by Dr. Richard Cohen in the accompanying booklet. The result was discouraging, as I reverted back to the all too familiar, undesirable symptoms of fatigue, mood swings, loss of
libido, etc. during the 54 day trial period.

Even more discouraging was my attempt to return the remaining Testosterall product. When I contacted a representative at AMP, I was told that the return policy was for 30 days only, that I
could not speak to a supervisor, nor could I speak with the salesman with whom I placed the order because "he will only deny the fact that I could return the product for refund beyond 30
days." I was simply given an address to write the board of directors regarding this matter and return for refund was denied.

Therefore, my trial of Testosterall resulted in complete failure of expectations--both verbal and written, fraudulent misrepresentation of the return policy, and humiliation--all courtesy of your AMP representatives.

I'm sharing the results of my experience with both your product and your staff NOT to get a free one month supply of your (ineffective) product, as advertised in the accompanying brochure from Dr. Cohen, but for a refund of my $219.90 as was guaranteed by your salesman and contingent upon my purchase when my order was initially placed.

As a fellow professional in the health field, I am appalled at the lack of ethics and morality with which your staff conducts its business affairs. Furthermore, failure to comply with the guarantee that was assured me at the time of my trial purchase for a prompt refund will result in imminent legal action against AMP.

Sincerely enraged,
Dr. Stephen G. Netzel

First of all the mere fact that Mr. Netzel did not even report the comanies name correctly shows you that he did not pay close enough attention to what was contained in the package. Customer service DOES grant extentions on the 30 day garentee but the customer needs to call before or on the thirtith day to ask for one if not them AMP will assume that they are satisfieded with what they have gotten and the trail date is over.

Further more if "Dr" Netzel is in fact part of the medical feild then he as well as anyone should know that not every product work for everyone. If that were the case then we would all be using and taking 300 different productsand there would be no room for improvement.

Now i am not saying that Testosterall is the "wonder drug" (using the term drug very loosly) but it does work for a lot of men and it will work for a lot of men in the future. I am sorry that this did not work for Mr Netzel and wish him luck in finding something that does but he should at least get ALL the facts straight before commiting slander about a company that does not exist (American Medical Partners) Sir honesty read everything before you write something.

Greetings! I am the customer service supervisor for American Media Partners. AMP is a direct response marketing company. We sell many different products via televison, radio and print.

All of our products comes with a 30 day money back guarantee from date of delivery, regardless of supply amount purchased.

This warranty information is provided to the consumer in writing on their packing slip document. We also clearly advertise that all our products have a 30 day risk-free trial.

If a customer is not satisifed with our products, they simply need to call customer service within 30 days of the delivery date of their product and we will gladly give them return instructions to sent the product back for a full refund of the purchase price.

In the case of Mr. Netzel, he placed his order on November 12, 2001. The product was shipped and recieved by him on December 5, 2001. The customer's first call to customer service was on 1.17.02. He was advised that beyond the warranty period, no refund is issued.

Mr. Netzel proceeded to write letters to the BBB and AG of the state of Maine. To resolve the issue, we credited Mr. Netzel for the purchase price of his product on April 5, 2002.

Although I feel that the consumer has a responsibily to hold up to their end of the warranty in writing, we honorably made an exception for Mr. Netzel and credited his account.
I just wanted everyone to know that AMP is a reputable company that does work with reasonable consumers for reasonable requests.
