Complaint Review: American Mint

American Mint American Mint says they have now sent out 6 collection attempts for an amount due of $97.45 they say I owe. There has been two notices of collection including one that I just received dated 06/06/18. I have answered previous inquiries that they have sent billing me for unwanted coins already returned. If they try to tarnish my 800+ FICA credit score rating, I will sue them in court for $3000 in punitive damages. Mechanicsburg Pennsylavnia

There was one coin that was never shipped IAW USPS who said that there was no such tracking number for a 1933 Gold Double Eagle Proof claimed to have been sent. Other than that a Gettysburg Address Coin Set and a Fort Sumpter Coin Set shown in their collection letter was returned unuopened.

They even issued a credit of $79.95 on my VISA Card Credit Statement. They are adding a 17.50 late charge on their collection letter.to make a total of $97.45 attempted collection. On two ocassions I sent a signed "lost statement" regarding the 1933 Double Eagle Proof coin. I have properly complied with every request that they have asked.

They never know what one department is doing vs. another department . I have US Postal receipts to prove that I shipped unwanted coins back. They owe me $10.00 per hour for all my trouble in replying to their collection attempts and I want $30.00 for my trouble making phone calls trying to straighten out their poor record-keeping. If they try to tarnish my 800+ FICA credit score rating, I will sue them in court for $3000 in punitive damages. Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania
