AOL told me that they would give me 2 Free months 11/02 & 12/02, to settle past problems. Aol also offered me a Free Credit Report and a AOL Credit Alert Membership, I could cancel anytime.

Since I had DSL service from my telephone service provider, I was put on a plan called "Bring Your Own Access" (BYA). The charge was to be $14.95 a month starting in 1/03.

I had to reset my DSL PCI Card, so I used the dial up option for a few days until I resetted my DSL PCI Card. On 11/14/02 AOL billed me $36.00 ($2.95 per hour) for using the dial up option.

When I told AOL billings that I had 2 Free months, I was told the Free months didn't pertain to the dial up option.

I was told there would be no billing on my account for 2 months and here they was billing me in November for $36.00.

I cancelled my account and asked them would this include all accounts with AOL including AOL Credit Alert they said yes. Well that was a lie.

On 12/10/02 AOL Credit Alert tried to debit my account. I called AOL Credit Alert direct and cancelled the account AOL cancellation dept told me was cancelled.

One representative from AOL told me FREE is not FREE. I talked to about 5 different people at AOL and received different answers from all of them. A company from HELL.

This is only part of the problems I had with AOL billing. I paid $154.00 in bank fees.
