Complaint Review: American Reptile Distributors

American Reptile Distributors Sent me a clearly dead turtle, told me it was alive, ignored my calls and messages proving it was DOA. I can't get a refund because they won't communicate. Freehold New Jersey

Terrible business. They sent me a very dead turtle and had the gall to tell me it was alive! They said it wouldn’t die in that position. When I told them it was in that same dead position for days with no movement, they ignored me. When I sent sad pictures of the week long dead turtle in the same position, they sill ignored me. So, it’s not just incompetence, they are just dishonest and unethical. The few times they responded were all via email as they don’t answer the phone and the voicemail box is “full”. Looks like they respond to negative reviews faster than they do their phone or email.
