American Sales Network Promises, Promises.... Santa Monica California
This site makes promises and takes your money befoe you can verify that they are worthless! A previous reporter claimed that the site ends up providing the very same job listings that are free on Monstor, Medzilla, publicis, and other jobboards. I too was taken in by thier claims that they will actually get interviews for you! They use pharmaceutical postings as the "bait" to attract desperate unemployed candidates. Pharma jobs are highly coveted and hence a drawing card.
When I applied to ASN they did inform me of the monthly fee and sales course with booklet to read. The book is all basic stuff that a two year veteran of sales would already know. The staff of recruiters never knows whether you have completed this or the online interview. The most egregious part is the promise to have me set up with interviews in 4-5 weeks never came true. It is obvious that they are feeding on the unforunate and jobless to make a buck (monthly fees and sales booklets). Please say away from this site as well as National Sales Group!

I had a very pleasant experience with ASN! I signed up for their program and took the test. I have a great resume and they took the time to call me and follow up. I got a job through their search in 2 weeks! I realize that that there are some critics out there, but I got a great job through them and I think people should give them a try.
