i have a trane heating and air unit in my house the unit is only two years old and still under warrenty. the motor stopped working friday12th dec. 08 . today is monday dec.15th 08. trane told me they do not have that motor in stock, and it would take at least five days to get it. meantime i have no heat and trane don't care. if i was a business that had an account with them i would get the royal treetment but since im not, they seem to want to take their sweet time in fixing the problem. i paid 5,000 dollars for this humk of junk that breaks down under warrenty and trane cant fix asimple problem in a timely manner. what a ripp off.

Your lucky to even get the motor

Im surprised that they even sold you the motor. Our Trane/American STandard dealers around here would not sell to you the general consumer unless you are licensed. As far as the motor goes, sometimes we might have to wait several days to get a motor in unless we want to pay to have it shipped overnight. But i bet you don't want to pay those charges so you can get your heat back up and running. Are you sure its the motor and not the capicator????
