I been having some trouble with the IRS,I found American Tax Relief on the internet. I contacted them and they said they could help.

I spoke with a tax attorney or what I was lead to believe was a attorney by the name of Matt.He told me there fee was $3,200.00 and that I could pay it in two installments of $1,600.00 each.

So I was upset and he took my checking information. And told me that if I decided to follow through with there company I should call him back.

Well I never called him back and I never authorized American Tax Relief to debit my checking account. But they did for $1,600.00.

I called them requesting my money back, this time I spoke with someone by the name of Joe who claims he is Matt's supervisor. I explained to Joe that I was not going to use there services, and I wanted my $1,600.00 back. I also told him that after I did some reserach that there are other attorneys that do the same thing for half the price.

Make a long story short Joe refused to return my money, never provided any type of service, and hung up on me.
I have contacted my bank, and filled a unauthorized debit report, but I don't know how much they can help.

I hope this gets out to millions of people before they end up in the same boat as I'm in. I'm retired, not rich, living on a fixed income, and American Tax Relief riped me off for $1,600.00 and never provided any type of service.
