Complaint Review: American Timeshare Marketing

I have been caught up in the Great American Timeshare Marketing Scamd as well. I was contacted by John Davis in October 2007 that they could sell my timeshare. I only had to pay XXX amount of dollars and I would be timeshare free in 60 - 90 days. I was hesitant, but the constant barrage of phone calls from him almost daily finally wore me down. I thought I was covering myself by requesting the contract to review before sending anything. I even went online and researched them on the BBB site. (Now I can't even find them on the BBB site.) I signed the "contract" sent them my money and have not heard from them since.
I am interested in any information about legal action. I have a friend who is a lawyer and will be consulting him about whether or not there is anything we can do about this. I'm afraid the answer will be no, but I have to at least try.
Again, if anyone has information about this company or how I may be able to get my money back, I would love to hear from you.
