I have to now say DO Not EVER USE American Tire Depot in Santa Ana for ANY repairs on your vehicle. I took my Xterra to them for a simple timing belt replacement and the mechanic either didn't torque the timing cover bolts properly, or left one in the timing belt compartment and the bolt chewed up[ and destroyed not only the timing belt on my INTERFERENCE engine.
It also broke the engine casing and bent both Timing belt retainer keys. My truck is now inoperable. When I brought it to The manager Lalo's attention, he said "It was running fine when you left - and basically told me it was not their problem.
Now I have to sue these dirtbags in order to get my vehicle, which I religiously maintained, back on the road. Stay away from these scheisters. Their mechanics are idiots and they do not stand behind their work. This is going to cost me at least $2600.00!
