Complaint Review: American Tire Depot

I know you get what you pay for but this place is a joke.  Called to get price on oil change and transmission fluid flush.  I was quoted $120 when I arrived I was told it would be $158 pulled that of the air I guess.  I know most of these places try to get you in the door to recommend repairs that are not needed but this guy was laughable.  He called me to let me know I had a leak in my power steering fluid and needed new brakes.  3 months ago I was told I had 60% left on my brakes and there was no leak.  After the 4 new tires he recommended I could be out the door for a little less than $1000.  I informed him I only wanted the oil and transmission done and he gave me a time it wold be done.  I gave him an extra 1/2 hour and had to wait over an hour anyway.  The best part is my hubcap was broken during the tire rotation and they did not say a thing.  Needless to say I went back and have gotten nowhere with the "new Manager"?  I will no longer use coupons to try and save a buck at these ripoff shops, and by the way I'm pretty sure they didnt even flush my transmission.  Keep up the bad work.
